Amanda Frame

Chief Executive Officer

Amanda is our CEO and principal program facilitator.

Amanda is a registered psychologist with over 15 years experience in providing psychological services to children, adolescents, adults and families.

As the consultant psychologist for Project Booyah, a nationally awarded and highly successful program for youth who are at risk, Amanda developed an assessment tool which determines suitability, the risk and protective factors of the young person, their strengths and their needs.

Amanda also developed the RESPECT program, which is an evidence based resilience program underpinned by cognitive behavioural therapy which has been delivered to young people in Project Booyah and schools throughout Queensland.

Amanda is a firm believer that all people strive for happiness and fulfillment in life and everyone has the capability to enhance resilience and achieve their goals.

Beth Manley

Beth Manley

Facilitator

Beth is a registered psychologist who has been working in a private psychology practice, both as an Intern Psychologist and initially as a receptionist for over five years.

Beth has provided psychological services with a wide range of clients for over three years, with a passion for working with children and adolescents. Beth has worked alongside Amanda in the internationally acclaimed Project Booyah, assisting young people who are at risk, in improving their resilience and providing the skills required for them to cope better in life. Beth assisted in the review of a resilience program incorporating CBT and has created many tools to assist young people to manage the stressors life throws at them.

Beth has worked in other areas of psychology providing therapy to members of the community, including those in the NDIS space. Beth takes an individual, client centred approach and caters her services to the clients needs to ensure they are provided with the skills which meet the needs to improve their well-being.

Tarleigh Smit

Tarleigh Smit

Facilitator

Tarleigh (Taz)  has a Diploma in Youth Work and has 6 years experience working with adolescents and their families in the community service sector. 

Taz is passionate about mental wellbeing and is currently studying Behavioural Science (Psychology) with the goal to become a provisional psychologist at the end of her study.  Taz has previously worked alongside Amanda and Beth in the internationally acclaimed Project Booyah, working with at-risk young people to build resilience and empower them with skills to succeed in their life. 

Tarleigh takes a strength based, client centred approach when working with individuals. Taz also has entry level training in Alcohol and Other Drugs, Mental Health First Aid and Trauma Informed Practice. 

Ian Frame

Ian Frame

Co-Founder and Non-Executive Director

Ian is a highly decorated and multi award winning senior policing leader, serving nearly three decades in communities across Australia. Ian was formally recognised by the Commissioner as providing significant contributions to the safety and health of Queenslanders after his highly successful police mentor program Project Booyah was awarded the Premiers Award for Excellence.

Ian developed, implemented, and lead this internationally award winning early intervention police mentor program for the past 12 years aimed towards re-engaging young people with school or assisting their transition to the workforce, reducing criminogenic risk factors such as involvement with violent episodes, substance misuse, and ultimately reducing participants’ offending episodes and severity. Not only did Ian personally receive personal awards including Commissioners certificate for bravery, and QPS Exemplary Conduct Medal, his legacy within the QPS will live on with Project Booyah and RESPECT continuing to help young people across Queensland due to his ability to secure permanent government funding in the vicinity of $3 million annually.

Ian was recently appointed CEO of a highly regarded youth foundation whereby his passion for working with and supporting vulnerable young people and minority groups will continue. Ian recently completed a Master in Professional Studies with USQ and has attained academic qualifications in community services, management, investigative practices, and public safety.

Ian’s other passion is rugby league and has an impressive coaching resume that includes coaching juniors and Women’s teams to multiple premierships, junior representative teams to championships and winning numerous coaching awards. He is in his 13th year of coaching and is selflessly committing countless hours towards community service.

David Bartlett

David Bartlett

Co-Founder and Non-Executive Director

David is a consultant criminologist, multi-award winning university lecturer and researcher who regularly undertakes consultancy work for government.  Over the past 10 years his expertise has been engaged by a number of government departments, mainly in the areas of criminal justice and child protection.

He is also an experienced non-executive director in the not-for-profit sector, serving on several boards and committees in the health and justice sectors.

David is a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (GAICD) and holds academic qualifications in psychology, criminology and business. He holds membership to several professional associations including the AICD, Australian Psychological Society and Australian and New Zealand Association of Psychiatry, Psychology and Law.
